Adivasi Leadership Vital to Protect Tribal Rights: Kusumtai
Kusumtai alleged that Adivasi lands were being handed over to industrialists and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s associates Adani and Ambani.
Adilabad: Adivasi Congress national coordinator Kusumtai Alam on Tuesday interacted with tribal communities during an Adivasi leadership development programme at Vaijapur village in Gudihathnoor mandal and discussed issues relating to tribal rights.
She alleged that the BJP was weakening the rights guaranteed to Adivasis under the Indian Constitution.
Kusumtai stressed the need to encourage Adivasi leadership to protect tribal communities and strengthen the Congress party.
