Adilabad Trader, Daughter Die in NH-44 Crash Near Nirmal
Father and daughter from Adilabad killed in NH-44 accident near Neelaipeta
Adilabad: Bandi Shankar, 49, a merchang dealing with batteries, and his daughter Krithika, 21, of Ravindranagar Colony of Adilabad town, died in a road accident near Neelaipeta on NH-44 in the Nirmal district. The accident occurred when they were returning home from Hyderabad in the early morning on Sunday. Krithika was studying her BTech in Hyderabad.
The car in which they were travelling was hit by a mini-van coming from the opposite direction at Neelaipate. Police said Shankar was driving the car when the driver complained of feeling sleepy. The van driver and the car driver sustained injuries.
