Adilabad Cops Shine At State Meet, Win 10 Medals, Including Three Gold
The SP appreciated the personnel for bringing recognition to the district and presented appreciation certificates to those who secured medals.
ADILABAD: Adilabad police secured 10 medals, including three gold, two silver and five bronze, at the 4th state-level police meet held under the Malkajgiri Police Commissionerate in Hyderabad last week.
According to officials, two of the gold medals were won in yoga events. The medal winners met superintendent of police Akhil Mahajan on Monday.

Among the winners, A. Rohini secured a gold medal in artistic single yoga and bronze medals in artistic pair and group yoga events. P. Puja won a gold medal in artistic pair yoga and a bronze in group yoga. A. Rupa secured a silver medal in artistic yoga and a bronze in traditional yoga. A. Prashanth won bronze medals in taekwondo and pencak silat, while P. Mir Singh secured a silver medal in bodybuilding.
Adilabad AR DSP Kamatham Indra Vardhan, reserve inspectors D. Venkati and N. Chandrasekhar, and other officials were present.
