ADA Suspended For Harassing Deceased AO Family Members
Nizamabad rural assistant director of agriculture Pindi Pradeep Kumar was suspended on Wednesday for harassing the family members of deceased agriculture officer of Dharpally mandal Sangem Praveen, who had died of heart attack in 2024.

Secretary to government (agriculture and co-operation) M. Raghunandan Rao has issued suspension orders based on the enquiry commission report.
After Praveen’s death, his family members approached Nizamabad rural ADA Pradeep for settlement of death benefits and compensatory job to a family member. Pradeep allegedly harassed them and neglected to settle the issue. Following a complaint from the deceased’s family members, district collector Rajiv Gandhi directed an additional collector to conduct an enquiry.
As agriculture department did not respond to the incident, Praveen’s family members staged a protest in the college demanding action against Pradeep. Following this, an enquiry commission was constituted with agriculture joint director Singi Reddy and accounts officer Shivaji Patil. They conducted an enquiry at ADA Nizamabad rural office and district agriculture office and submitted a report to Raghunandan Rao.
Meanwhile, Telangana non-Gazetted officers’ association, agriculture officers’ association and others also threatened to take up an agitation and go on mass leaves if action not initiated against Pradeep.
Raghunandan Rao finally has issued the suspension orders on Wednesday.
Pradeep had also lodged a complaint with the police against union leaders and others for putting pressure on him for an early settlement to the Praveen’s family.
