Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police on Friday said that stern action would be taken against those indulging in rash and wrong side driving
“We understand the concerns highlighted regarding rash driving and wrong-side driving by some auto drivers, which puts pedestrians and families at risk. We are regularly conducting awareness programs and counselling sessions for auto drivers, educating them on traffic rules, passenger safety, and responsible driving standards,” the police said.
The police said this while responding to an issue raised by a netizen highlighting the rash and wrong side driving by auto drivers. The police made it clear that strict action is also being taken against violations whenever reported.
The police said citizens can support them by reporting traffic violations with clear time stamped photo or video evidence to the Cyberabad Traffic WhatsApp number: 8712663222. ‘Your cooperation helps us identify offenders and improve road safety for everyone,” the police said.
