ACB Traps Revenue Inspector Taking ₹10,000 Bribe in Khammam
The revenue inspector was arrested and produced before the Special Court for SPE and ACB cases in Warangal

ACB DSP Y. Ramesh said a trap was laid after receiving a complaint and the revenue inspector was caught while accepting the bribe at a location in Karepalli.
Nalgonda: Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught a revenue inspector red-handed while accepting a bribe in Karepalli mandal of Khammam district on Thursday.
The accused, Vusa Subha Kameshwari, revenue inspector in the tahsildar’s office at Karepalli, allegedly demanded and accepted a bribe of ₹10,000 from a complainant for verifying, attesting and forwarding a family member certificate required for mutation of land records from the complainant’s grandfather to father.
ACB DSP Y. Ramesh said a trap was laid after receiving a complaint and the revenue inspector was caught while accepting the bribe at a location in Karepalli. Both her hands tested positive in the chemical test.
The revenue inspector was arrested and produced before the Special Court for SPE and ACB cases in Warangal. Further investigation is underway, and the identity of the complainant has been withheld for security reasons.
