The ACB officials found unaccounted cash and other irregularities in the municipal office

Hyderabad: After RTA and Sub-Registrar offices, Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday conducted a surprise check at the office of the Palvancha municipality in Bhadradri Kothagudem district.
During the check, certain irregularities like, an unaccounted amount of Rs.40,765, variations in the personal cash register, improper maintenance of office records were found. A report is being sent to the State government against the officials concerned for taking necessary action.
On Thursday, Telangana ACB conducted surprise checks at sub registrar offices (SRO) in Bibinagar in Nalgonda, Sadasivpet in Medak and Jadcherla in Mahabubnagar. It carried out a surprise check at RTA check point at Pondurthi of Bhiknoor mandal in Kamareddy district on Wednesday.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
