8 Tested Positive for Drugs in Kondapur Pub Raid

Hyderabad: Eight persons tested positive for consuming drugs when the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) officials raided a pub in Kondapur on Thursday night.
An event was organized in the pub in the name of a ‘Black Coffee’ and a DJ from Nigeria was roped in for the party. Following information that a Nigerian was a DJ for the event, the EAGLE personnel raided the pub.
After examining the premises, they conducted a test on 64 people. Of them, eight tested positive. The police collected blood samples from the eight persons and sent them for analysis. The police are waiting for the reports to initiate necessary action.
The police officials are collecting more details from the consumers to zero in on those who supplied the drugs. They are also checking the footage of the surveillance cameras installed in the pub to identify the drug suppliers.
