8 Pilgrims Injured As Bus Overturns Near Badapahad

NIZAMABAD: Eight pilgrims were seriously injured when a bus carrying 35 passengers overturned near Badapahad in Varni mandal of Nizamabad district on Friday morning.
According to local sources, the passengers from the Patancheru area were travelling to the Badapahad pilgrimage site in a private school bus. The accident occurred in a forest stretch on the outskirts of Badapahad when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle at a sharp bend, causing it to overturn.
A total of 35 pilgrims were on board at the time of the accident. While eight sustained serious injuries, the others escaped with minor injuries.
The injured were shifted to the Government General Hospital in Nizamabad district for treatment. Police from Varni have registered a case and launched an investigation.
