KARIMNAGAR: Under the supervision of Police Commissioner Gouse Alam, officials from the Three-Town Police Station conducted a cordon and search operation at Kisan Nagar in Karimnagar city on Monday. During the operation, they seized 71 vehicles, including 64 motorcycles, five autorickshaws, one trolley, and one car, all lacking proper documentation.
As part of the search, police also checked whether any known offenders were residing in rented houses in the area. Following the operation, they held an awareness programme for local residents, addressing several key issues.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Gouse Alam explained how cybercrimes are committed and advised the public to immediately dial 1930 within an hour of a cybercrime incident. Doing so, he said, can help freeze the stolen amount and increase the chances of recovery.
Highlighting the dangers of drug abuse, the Commissioner stressed that illegal possession, transportation, sale, and consumption of drugs are criminal offences that can ruin the future of youth.
He further warned that strict action would be taken against individuals involved in illegal or anti-social activities. He urged citizens to report any such persons who may be disturbing law and order by calling Dial 100 or contacting their local police station.
