Hyderabad: Shamshabad police arrested seven persons for gambling, following a raid on a five-star hotel in Thondupalli, on Saturday. Shamshabad inspector K. Narender Reddy said accused were hotel owner Thirupathi Rao, M. Anjaiah, Pradeep, Konda Raju, K. Jaipal, M. Raju and Nikhil Kumar. Police seized Rs 3,210 in cash, six mobile phones and two motorcycles. A case under the TG State Gaming Act has been registered and further investigation is underway.
