Hyderabad: Defying age, a 67-year-old man competed with teenagers for a medical seat as he appeared for the NEET-UG exam at a centre in the city. This was his second attempt as there is no age limit to appear for the NEET-UG.
The senior aspirant, Karunakaran David, said that after returning to India from Yemen, he was unable to pursue medicine as he did not possess the domicile certificate.
Despite working in a Central government sector job, he continued to nurture his dream of becoming a doctor. His mother, who is a senior doctor, wanted him to become a doctor.
