6,000 Hanuman Shobha Yatras Held in Telangana: VHP
The Shobha Yatra began in 2004 from Hanuman Mandir near Gowliguda and now takes place all over the state

Hyderabad: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Telangana announced that grand Hanuman Shobha Yatras were carried out at 6,000 places across the state on Hanuman Jayanti on Saturday. VHP national leader and Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust member Ram Vilas Vedanti took part in the procession in the city and Kamalananda Bharati Swamy addressed at Karmanghat Hanuman Temple.
The Shobha Yatra began in 2004 from Hanuman Mandir near Gowliguda and now takes place all over the state and even in neighbouring states, which reflects the growing unity of Hindus towards nationalism, said VHP spokesperson P. Balaswamy in a statement.
The yatra had seen a rare meeting in public between Union minister of state for home Bandi Sanjay and party legislator T. Raja Singh, who was stated to be miffed with the BJP of late.
