6-Year-Old Girl Mowed Down By Over Speeding Vehicle

According to police, the victim, identified as Pitla Akshara, daughter of Raja and Sandhya of Bapuji Nagar, was crossing the road when the vehicle struck her, leading to her death on the spot. Negligent driving and over speeding were the reasons for the accident, said the police.

The Kondamallepally police registered a case against the vehicle's driver and took him into custody. The girl’s body was shifted to the mortuary of the area hospital at Devarakonda for autopsy.
