Tributaries of the Godavari, including Manjira, Kadam and Swarna, overflowed their banks, submerging vast stretches of farmland, colonies and major roads, and leaving behind large-scale devastation. Officials said this was the heaviest downpour in such a short span in Since Tuesday night, incessant rain has cut off road connectivity, inundated residential colonies and damaged vital infrastructure.
