5th Batch of Haj Pilgrims Departs for Saudi Arabia
A total of 1,092 pilgrims from Telangana have reached Madina

Hyderabad: The fifth batch of 287 Haj pilgrims departed to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday afternoon from the Shamshabad airport. The journey was flagged off by Telangana Haj Committee chairman Syed Gulam Afzal Biyabani (Khusro Pasha) from Haj House. He urged pilgrims to respect the sanctity of the holy places and remain patient and devoted through out the journey. He also encouraged younger pilgrims to help elderly people.
A total of 1,092 pilgrims from Telangana have reached Madina. The next Haj flight is scheduled for 11.25 am of Sunday. Haj Committee executive officer Sajjad Ali greeted the pilgrims and wished them safe journey. Committee members Md Mujeebuddin and Md Layeeq, and minority welfare department officials were present at the program.
