Hyderabad: The departmental promotion committee (DPC) has proposed the promotion of 53 excise officials, including two joint commissioners, 12 deputy commissioners, 14 assistant commissioners, and 23 excise superintendents.
The committee, chaired by Vikas Raj with convener secretary Mahesh Dutt, principal secretary Raghunandan Rao, and excise commissioner C. Harikiran, submitted the proposal to the state government.
In a press release on Tuesday, Harikiran stated that the government has assured joining orders would be issued in a couple of days. The promoted officers met Harikiran and expressed gratitude to the government. Additional commissioner Syed Yasin Qureshi, joint commissioner Suresh Rathore, deputy commissioner P. Dasharath, and other officials were present.
