516 Cases Booked In Anti-Encroachment Drive
The drive was conducted in the Malkajgiri and Trimulgherry traffic divisions to ensure smooth pedestrian movement and prevent traffic congestion caused by illegal occupation of footpaths and roadsides.

Hyderabad: Malkajgiri traffic police launched a special enforcement drive against footpath encroachments and carriageway obstructions, booking 516 cases and collecting Rs 74,900 in penalties across Traffic Zone-I.
The drive was conducted in the Malkajgiri and Trimulgherry traffic divisions to ensure smooth pedestrian movement and prevent traffic congestion caused by illegal occupation of footpaths and roadsides. During the operation, officials identified and removed encroachments by roadside vendors, unauthorised parking and other obstructions affecting traffic flow.
According to traffic police data, Begumpet Traffic Police Station recorded the highest number of violations with 168 cases, followed by Gopalpuram with 110 cases and Alwal with 88 cases.
