50 Units of Blood Donated at Meru NCC Camp

The camp reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible citizens and encouraging voluntary blood donation.

Hyderabad: Fifty units of blood were donated at a camp organised by an international school at Miyapur, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society on Sunday. Parents, staff, alumni and local community members joined the initiative, which was spearheaded by cadets of the 3 Telangana Battalion NCC, Hyderabad Group, Troop No. 55B (Army Wing). The camp reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible citizens and encouraging voluntary blood donation.

The camp was inaugurated by Prof A. Sriramulu, general secretary and CEO of the Indian Red Cross Society. He commended the school for fostering a spirit of service among students and highlighted the role of youth in humanitarian service and nation‑building.
