5 Hospitals Get Nod Without Qualified Doctors
Despite repeated attempts, the DMHO’s office has not responded to the allegations.

Hyderabad:At least five hospitals and diagnostic centres in Rangareddy district were granted permission despite employing doctors without valid registrations, according to a complaint submitted to the health minister by Telangana Youth Association state president Anantula Madhu. The complaint alleged that these establishments allegedly submitted expired, forged, or non-existent registration certificates while applying for new licences or renewals.
The complaint also accuses some centres of forging doctors’ signatures and using unrelated professionals’ credentials without their knowledge to obtain approvals. One such case involves Sharath Cardiac Centre, where a radiologist’s name was allegedly misused to sign diagnostic reports.
Though one scan centre was seized in April 2025 for allowing an untrained technician to conduct scans, no action was taken against other centres named in the complaint with more serious violations. “Selective enforcement shows there’s more than negligence involved,” said Madhu.
Despite repeated attempts, the DMHO’s office has not responded to the allegations. The complainant has demanded suspension of involved officials, FIRs against the doctors and hospital managements, and a review of all hospital approvals issued since 2020.
