4-Year-Old Murdered After Kidnapping in Sri Sathya Sai District

Sri Sathya Sai District: A four-year-old boy, Harshavardhan, was found murdered after being kidnapped in Gokanapeta village of N.P. Kunta mandal. Police said the crime was allegedly committed by the child’s aunt’s husband, Prasad.
The boy went missing on Wednesday, prompting his parents, Gangadhar and his wife, to file a complaint with police later that evening. During the investigation, police discovered the child’s body on Thursday morning in the same village.
According to officials, Prasad had a dispute with his brother-in-law after he was refused financial help for his son's cancer treatment. Police suspect this grudge led to the kidnapping and murder.
N.P. Kunta SI Narasimhulu confirmed the crime, while DSP Shivanarayanaswamy stated that the investigation is underway and efforts are on to trace the accused.
