39-year-old Woman Dies By Suicide In Madhapur
Anantha Laxmi took the extreme step while her husband was away at work

Hyderabad: A 39-year-old woman died by suicide at her residence in Bikshapati Nagar, Kondapur, on Saturday night.
The deceased, T. Anantha Laxmi, worked as a security guard and lived in a rented house with her husband, Srinivas, a driver, and their two children — one studying Intermediate and the other in Class 8.
According to Madhapur sub-inspector Santosh Kumar, Anantha Laxmi took the extreme step while her husband was away at work. She had sent the children out to play before the incident.
Later that night, she reportedly called her husband and asked him to “stay happy.” When she stopped responding to further calls, Srinivas alerted the house owner, who broke open the door after repeated knocks went unanswered.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. The body was later shifted to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem.
Police said no suicide note was found. “She was suffering from health issues. There were no reported problems with her husband. We suspect ill-health may have triggered the suicide,” the SI said.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
