36-Year-Old Daily Wage Worker Dies By Suicide
A daily wage worker was found dead at his residence in Khammam district, with police probing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A 36-year-old daily wage worker has died by suicide at Painampalli in Nelakondapally mandal of Khammam district on Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Gosula Veerababu, who was living alone at his house in the village.
Relatives alleged that differences with his wife led to the incident. Veerababu had married Vimala about 13 years ago. The couple later separated and she was living at her parents’ house. Relatives said she had sent him a divorce notice seeking maintenance that he could not afford.
According to police, Veerababu was found dead at his house they rushed to his house after neighbours alerted them. The body was shifted to the government hospital at Palair for post-mortem.
Police said he had not left any note explaining his decision. Nelakondapally police registered a case and launched an investigation.
