Hyderabad: As many as 356 drivers were caught driving vehicles under influence of alcohol during a two-day special drive conducted by traffic police at various places in Hyderabad from January 30 and 31.
Of them, 302 were two-wheeler riders, 21were three-wheelers and 33 were four-wheeler and other vehicle drivers.
In 89 cases, the BAC levels of the drivers were between 30 and 50 while 51-100 in 143 cases, and 101-150 in 64 cases. The BAC levels were 151 and 200 in 34 cases, while 201 and 250 in 16 cases, 251 and 300 in seven cases and 300 and more in three cases.
