35 Villagers Booked For Encroaching Kawal Forest Land
Sridhar further stated that the encroachers attacked the forest staff with lathis and by sprinkling chilli powder, injuring Section Officer Rajender and Beat Officer of Dongapalli, J. Santhosh.

ADILABAD: Jannaram police on Saturday registered cases against 35 villagers, including one Sidam Motiram, on charges of encroaching forest land in compartment no. 249 in the Sonapur Tada beat, Kawal Section, Indhapalli Range, within the Kawal Tiger Reserve, and assaulting forest staff.
According to Jannaram SI Anusha, the cases were registered following a complaint lodged by Indhapalli forest range officer Gadipalli Sridhar. In his complaint, Sridhar stated that forest staff went to the site on Friday evening after receiving information that nearly 35 villagers from Netnoor in Sirpur (U) mandal and from Jainoor mandal had encroached on forest land and erected huts there.
