33 Units Of Govt Doctors’ Assn Elected Unopposed

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government Doctors Association (TGGDA) has completed its elections for the 2026–2028 term across all 40 units in Telangana, with the process concluding smoothly and peacefully across districts.

According to a press note, 33 units saw unanimous elections, while polls were conducted in seven units. Among the contested units, Dr Raccha Raghu was elected president of Nagarkurnool, Dr Sudhakar Bandari in Rangareddy, Dr Venu in Medchal, Dr Kumar Goud in Peddapalli and Dr Amareshwar in Jagityal. In the Gandhi unit, Dr Vishnu was elected general secretary and Dr Upender as treasurer, while Dr Ramulu was elected vice president in Vikarabad.

The newly-elected state office bearers include Dr B. Narahari as president, Dr R. Lalu Prasad Rathod as secretary general and Dr M.K. Rauf as treasurer.

The association stated that it remains committed to working with renewed dedication to address the welfare and concerns of government doctors and to act as a bridge between the government and its members.
