3 Washed Away While Fishing In Khammam

Nalgonda:Three persons who went fishing in the Nalleru stream at Banjara hamlet of Errupalem mandal in Khammam district were washed away on Thursday.
The victims were identified as Badavarth Raju (46), Bhukhya Koti (46), and Badavath Muktha (25), all residents of Banjara hamlet. The trio had entered the stream using indigenous floating devices when they were swept away by the strong current.
Upon receiving the information, revenue and police officials rushed to the spot and launched a search operation with the help of expert swimmers. However, no trace of the missing persons was found by late evening.
