The woman, a native of Varkatpally in Valigonda mandal of Yadadri-Bhongir district, was taken to the hospital by her husband, Nagaraju, after she developed breathing problems around 2 am.

Nalgonda: Three tolas of gold ornaments allegedly went missing from the body of a pregnant woman after she died while undergoing treatment at the district government hospital in Bhongir, police said.
The woman, a native of Varkatpally in Valigonda mandal of Yadadri-Bhongir district, was taken to the hospital by her husband, Nagaraju, after she developed breathing problems around 2 am. She died while undergoing treatment around 4 am.
Her relatives alleged that a three-tola gold chain worn by her was missing when hospital staff asked them to collect her valuables before the body was sent for post-mortem.
Based on Nagaraju’s complaint, Bhongir police registered a case and took up investigation.
