3 Cars Collide on Busy PVNR Expressway; Traffic Disrupted
Those heading to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad and returning to the city from Shamshabad were affected badly because of the cars collision.
Hyderabad: Traffic came to a standstill on Tuesday after three cars rammed into each other on the busy PVNR expressway near Attapur.
Several cars were caught in the traffic jam for over three kilometers after the incident. Those heading to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad and returning to the city from Shamshabad were affected badly because of the cars collision.
However, those travelling in the cars escaped with minor injuries in the incident that took place at pillar number 112 of the expressway. Upon receiving information, the police rushed to the spot and cleared the damaged vehicles from the expressway using a crane.
The police rushed the injured persons to a nearby hospital where they were treated as outpatients. The case is under investigation.
