26 Plots Registered Illegally in Warangal in 48 Hours
Warangal: The in-charge sub-registrar of this district, Rajesh, has been suspended from service on a charge of illegal registration of 26 plots in Warangal in two days.
The sub-registrar Karthik went on leave, following which Rajesh was given the temporary charge of stamps and registration on April 23. Rajesh was working as a senior assistant at the deputy inspector general office of the department.
He did registrations of plots from illegal layouts of a real estate venture at Singaram village, which is in the 44th division of Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation, it was found during an inquiry. Following this, district registrar Harikotla Ravi issued the suspension order.
Those attempting real estate ventures in agricultural land must get Nala permission for every plot. The person who attempted the venture in the Singaram village took Nala's permission for the entire agricultural land but not for the plots that were laid out illegally, officials said.
He managed to obtain permission for registration of 26 plots on May 19 and 10 plots on May 20, it was found.
District registrar Harikotla Ravi held an enquiry following a complaint. He confirmed the irregularities and suspended the incharge sub-registrar from service.
