200 Volunteers, 50 College Students Participate in 5-Day Civil Defence Training
The training programme has been organized with the objective of equipping civil defence volunteers with essential knowledge and practical skills in disaster preparedness, emergency response, first aid, fire safety, rescue operations and community awareness.

Hyderabad:The second batch of the 5-day civil defence volunteers training programme commenced at the Veeranari Chakali Ilamma women's university, Koti on Monday with 200 civil defence volunteers along with 50 college students participating.
The training programme has been organized with the objective of equipping civil defence volunteers with essential knowledge and practical skills in disaster preparedness, emergency response, first aid, fire safety, rescue operations and community awareness.
The training programme, which will continue until 10th July, comprises classroom lectures, live demonstrations, mock drills and practical training sessions conducted by experienced officers and instructors of the Telangana fire, disaster response, emergency and civil defence department.
The training programme is being conducted under the guidance and instructions of Vikram Singh Mann, IPS, director general of fire services, Telangana and was inaugurated in the presence of Prof. Surya Dhananjay, vice-chancellor, Veeranari Chakali Ilamma women's university.
