200 Army Officers in Secunderabad Attend Awareness Programme on Online Frauds
The programme was organized to enhance digital awareness and fostering cooperation between the armed forces and police in tackling cybercrime effectively

Hyderabad: As many as 200 army officers and personnel participated in an awareness programme organized by the North Zone police at the Roperia Auditorium in Bison Division in Secunderabad here on Saturday to sensitize serving defence personnel about increasing cyber threats, online frauds, and digital safety measures.
North Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police, S. Rashmi Perumal and other officers conducted the awareness programme. Speaking on the occasion, Rashmi Perumal addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of cyber hygiene, safe online practices, and precautions to be followed while using smartphones, social media platforms, and online financial transactions.
Interactive sessions were held where army personnel raised queries and shared their experiences. The police officials assured that all feedback and concerns would be addressed. Approximately 200 Army officers and personnel actively participated in the programme and appreciated the initiative taken by North Zone Police.
