2 Teens Killed, One Hurt in Bike Collision in Khammam

Nalgonda: Two teenagers died and another was injured after their motorcycle hit another motorcycle and skidded at Penuballi in Khammam district on Thursday, police said.

The deceased were identified as Paddam Madhu, 19, and Mirapa Goparaju, 19. The injured, Mediam Shiva, is out of danger. All three were friends from Lingagudem in Penuballi mandal.

Police said Madhu and Goparaju had gone to Vanga Muthyala Banjara on a motorcycle to pick up Shiva, who was waiting at a bus stand, and take him back to their village. The accident occurred when they were about one kilometre from their destination.

Madhu died on the spot, while Goparaju died during treatment at a hospital in Penuballi.
