Nalgonda: Two youths died after their motorcycle hit a roadside culvert at Gopalapuram in Nagaram mandal of Suryapet district on Sunday, police said.
The deceased were identified as K. Vishnuvardhan, 24, and P. Aravind, 26, natives of Thorrur in Mahbubabad district.
The accident took place around 5 am when the motorcycle on which they were travelling allegedly went out of control and rammed the culvert at Gopalapuram, police said. Both sustained serious injuries.
According to the police, the two youths worked at a chicken centre in Tirumalgiri in Suryapet district. They had gone to a poultry farm in Gopalapuram to buy chickens and met with the accident while returning to Tirumalgiri.
On receiving information, Nagaram police reached the spot and shifted the injured to the Government General Hospital in an ambulance. The two died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
