Police recover 900 gm silver; hunt on for five gang members

Hyderabad: Two members of the interstate dacoit gang from Bihar involved in the armed robbery at Khazana Jewellers in Chandanagar were arrested, police said on Saturday. During the incident, deputy manager Satish Kumar was injured and 10 kg of silver was looted.
The arrested accused were identified as Aashish Kumar Singh, 22, and Deepak Kumar Sah, 22. Police recovered about 900 gm of the stolen property from them.
Investigations revealed the gang had rented a house in Jeedimetla, procured vehicles and conducted a recce before carrying out the strike. Efforts are on to trace the five others who remain absconding.
