2 Held in AC Technician’s Murder in Chilkalguda
The accused killed the technician due to previous enmity: Police
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police arrested two persons in connection with the murder of a 43-year-old AC technician in Chilkalguda two days ago.
The arrested has been identified as Najmuddin alias Jahangir (35) and Syed Ilyas (33), both residents of Musheerabad. On April 23, the police received a complaint from Mohammed Aman stating that his father Aleem was found lying in a pool of blood near a wine shop in Padmarao Nagar, Chilkalguda.
He was shifted to Gandhi Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Based on the complaint, the police booked a case and found the two arrested accused were known to Aleem.
They consumed liquor together and picked up a quarrel due to prior enmity over petty financial disputes relating to liquor and gambling. In the melee, Ilyas attacked Aleem with a knife on the left side of Aleem’s face, causing severe bleeding injuries.
Aleem then collapsed near the wine shop, according to Rakshitha Krishna Murthy, DCP, Secunderabad Zone. Following information, the police arrested the accused persons.
