HYDERABAD: A 19-year-old youth died allegedly by suicide at his residence in Akshaya Enclave in Balanagar, on Saturday. Police said the deceased, Suraj Kumar, took the extreme step while his family members were away.
In the complaint, his father, Santosh Ram, stated that the boy had completed Class 10 and was reportedly unwilling to continue his studies.
The family had migrated to the city for work from Bihar. The boy was upset after being reprimanded by his father over the same issue, which allegedly made him take the extreme step. His body was shifted for postmortem examination and a case was registered. Further investigation is underway.
