173 Child Labourers Rescued In Sangareddy
As part of the initiative, 173 child labourers were rescued during inspections held from July 1 to 31, including 168 boys and five girls.

HYDERABAD: Sangareddy district police, along with the labour and child departments, rescued 173conducted a six‑month special drive to eradicate child labour under Operation Smile and Muskan–XII.
As part of the initiative, 173 child labourers were rescued during inspections held from July 1 to 31, including 168 boys and five girls. Cases have been registered against 136 employers for illegally employing children, and strict action will be taken against them, said additional SP Chaitanya Reddy on Saturday.
She said steps were being taken to rehabilitate the rescued children and continue their education in coordination with relevant departments. “It is the responsibility of everyone to protect the rights of children and provide them with a safe childhood,” she added.
