TGMC Cracks Down on 15 Fake Doctors in Telangana
Most of these RMPs lack formal medical education and recklessly prescribe antibiotics, steroids, and painkillers posing a serious health risk. Over 400 cases have been filed against fake doctors.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Medical Council (TGMC) caught 15 fake doctors on Friday after inspections in Jeedimetla, Miyapur, and Gajwel, registering multiple cases under the National Medical Commission Act, and Telangana Medical Practitioners Registration Act.
TGMC vice-chairman Dr G. Srinivas reiterated that there would be no leniency for those practicing medicine without valid qualifications.
In Miyapur, cases were registered against P. Aravinda of Sri Venkateswara Clinic, M. Kavitha of Kavitha First Aid Centre (FAC), A. Ramesh of Sri Sai First Aid Centre, Md. Abdul Waheed of Rehmaniya Clinic, and S. Kiran Kumar of Kiran First Aid Centre.
In Jeedimetla, action was taken against T. Raveendran of Ravindra FAC, Bikshapati Goud of Sarada FAC, B.S. Rao of Sri Hari FAC, and Saini Lakshmi of Gayatri FAC. Cases were registered at Dundigal, Gajwel, and Gouraram, where unauthorised medical practitioners were found operating clinics under false pretenses.
