A 14-year-old boy died in Girnibavi village of Duggondi mandal in Warangal district after being hit on the head by a cricket ball, police said on Sunday.
WARANGAL: A 14-year-old boy died in Girnibavi village of Duggondi mandal in Warangal district after being hit on the head by a cricket ball, police said on Sunday.
The incident occurred three days ago while the boy was playing cricket with friends. He collapsed after being struck by a hard ball and was shifted to a nearby hospital.
He died on Sunday while undergoing treatment.
Police said no complaint had been received from the family and enquiries are under way.
