NALGONDA: A 14-year-old boy allegedly attempted suicide at Singavaram in Dummugudem mandal of Bhadradri-Kothagudem district after his parents reprimanded him for skipping school.
The boy, a Class VII student at a local school, had reportedly not attended school for the past 10 days. His parents reprimanded him over the issue, following which he attempted suicide.
Family members noticed him and shifted him to the area hospital at Bhadrachalam for treatment. Police said his condition was stable.
