TGPSC clarified that the provisional selections are subject to the outcome of writ petitions currently pending before the courts.
Hyderabad: The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) on Friday released the provisional selection list for Group‑III Services recruitment, with 1,370 candidates shortlisted against 1,388 notified vacancies.
The Group‑III Services examination was conducted on November 17 and 18, and the provisional selections have been made based on the General Ranking List hosted on March 14, 2025. The hall ticket numbers of the provisionally selected candidates have been published on the commission’s website.
The recruitment process followed Notification No. 29/2022, issued on December 30, 2022. While 1,388 vacancies were originally notified, the commission said one vacancy has been withheld at this stage.
TGPSC clarified that the provisional selections are subject to the outcome of writ petitions currently pending before the courts. “The results hosted are subject to the outcome of the WPs pending before the Hon’ble Courts,” the commission stated in its official note.
The commission also cautioned that provisional selection does not guarantee final appointment. It said that if, at any stage, a candidate is found to have furnished false information, or if the selection is found to be irregular due to any act of omission or commission, the provisional selection will be cancelled. In such cases, candidates will forfeit all consequential benefits, including selection, the press note added.
