123 Teachers to Get State Awards on Teachers’ Day in Telangana

Hyderabad: The State government has decided to present State Teacher Awards to 123 teachers and faculty members on the occasion of Teachers' Day on September 5.
The government has been presenting State Teacher Awards to meritorious Teachers of School and Higher Education departments on Teachers' Day in recognition of their distinguished and meritorious services in the field of Education.
The Heads of Departments under the control of the Education department have submitted proposals and recommendations for the year 2026.
The State Level Committees scrutinized the proposals and recommended 52 teachers and faculty members from School Education, 11 from Intermediate Education, three from Technical Education, 28 from Universities and University-level Institutions and 29 from affiliated colleges, including a physical director and a librarian, aggregating to 123 awardees, according to Yogita Rana, Secretary to Government.
