Nagamma said she has never missed voting since becoming eligible and would continue to exercise her democratic right as long as she lives

NIZAMABAD: A 105-year-old woman set an example for voters by arriving at a polling station and casting her vote on Wednesday. Korri Nagamma, 105, from Birkur mandal headquarters in Kamareddy district, came to the polling station in a wheelchair and exercised her franchise without showing any signs of fatigue.
Nagamma said she has never missed voting since becoming eligible and would continue to exercise her democratic right as long as she lives. Calling voting a responsibility in a democracy, she appealed to all eligible citizens to act responsibly and participate in the electoral process. Her act of voting inspired residents across Birkur mandal.
Polling staff welcomed Korri Nagamma at the station, while her family members extended full support to ensure she could cast her vote in the gram panchayat elections.
