10,000 Electric Tippers to Boost Garbage Collection in Core Urban Region: CMC
Each vehicle will cater to 450-500 households, and the entire system will be digitised through QR code-based monitoring, a statement said.

Hyderabad:To improve door-to-door garbage collection and strengthen scientific solid waste management 10,000 electric swachh auto tippers (e-SATs) will be deployed in the Core Urban Region (CURE) area.
Each vehicle will cater to 450-500 households, and the entire system will be digitised through QR code-based monitoring, a statement said.
“Digitisation will help officials to track the amount of garbage and match user payments with service delivery, enhancing transparency and accountability,” said Cyberabad municipal commissioner G. Srijana speaking to a group of reporters. In addition to this, the CMC will enter into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) to make the corporation children friendly.
“ It will not be restricted to only to parks; the urban infrastructure, public spaces and civic amenities will be designed keeping children's needs in mind,” commissioner Srijana said. “We will also make sure the children get to know what services they should get from a corporation,” she added.
