1000 Women Unite to Harness Matru Shakti

The initiative seeks to empower maternal strength (Matru Shakti) and revive cultural values, positioning women as central partners in building a value‑driven “Nava Bharat” (New India).

Hyderabad:Around 1,000 women will converge at Kanha Shanti Vanam this weekend for a two‑day state‑level conference, Matru Samskar Samagam (Mothers’ Cultural Awakening Gathering), organised by Vishwa Mangalya Sabha (VMS).

The initiative seeks to empower maternal strength (Matru Shakti) and revive cultural values, positioning women as central partners in building a value‑driven “Nava Bharat” (New India). “The focus is on awakening women’s innate power through cultural reinforcement,” said G. Shruti and Udaya Sri of the Telangana team of VMS.

Founded in 2010, VMS works nationally and internationally on four principles —Samskar (values), Saamarthya (capability), Sadaachaar (good conduct) and Seva (service). Guided by spiritual leader Shreenath Pithadhishwar Aacharya Swami Shri Jitendranath Ji Maharaj, the organisation views motherhood as a nation‑building force, with mothers responsible for imparting values and preserving culture for future generations.

The two‑day programme will feature lectures, discussions and group sessions on spiritual reflection, social development and personality growth. Organisers say the event is designed to strengthen family bonds, foster cultural revival and provide a platform for women, especially mothers, to participate actively. “This is about restoring India’s position as Vishwa Guru by strengthening maternal energy,” the organisers said.
