Two Cops Suspended for Prisoner's Escape in Pudukkottai

Pudukkottai:Ravindra Kumar Gupta, superintendent police, Pudukkottai has ordered the suspension of two armed police constables for negligence after a prisoner escaped on Sunday night.

The suspended constables Manojkumar and Karthik took a theft case prisoner to the government medical college hospital for medical check-up on a two-wheeler. But the prisoner pushed aside the constables and escaped. A special police force with more than 100 policemen are trying to nab the prisoner, police added.
