TMC Farmers Wing Thanks CM Vijay For Raising Milk Procurement Price

Tiruchy: The Tiruchy district unit of the farmers wing of the Tamil Maanila Congress has thanked Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay for hiking milk procurement price and enhancing the basic price for paddy procurement.

In a memorandum to the district revenue officer, TMC farmers wing district vice-president Punganur Selvam also requested the Chief Minister to ensure the water released from the Mettur reservoir reach the tail-end areas through 17 irrigation canals in the delta districts and provide agriculture seeds and unconditional farms loans to the farmers in primary agriculture cooperative credit societies.
