Taratdac Members Protest For Enhanced Fin Assistance
Speaking on the occasion, Taratdac vice-president V. Maheswari wanted the government to fix Rs. 6,000 as minimum monthly financial assistance to differently-abled persons and for the government to sanction the monthly assistance to the differently-abled who have applied for their monthly pension.

PUDUKKOTTAI: Members of the Pudukkottai district unit of the Tamil Nadu Association for the Rights of All Types of Differently-Abled and Caregivers (Taratdac), led by their town secretary V. Ramesh, staged a drawing agitation at Pudukkottai on Tuesday, urging the government to provide a tiered monthly financial assistance of Rs. 6,000, Rs. 10,000, and Rs. 15,000 for persons with disabilities based on their disability level, similar to the Andhra Pradesh government.
