Tamil Nadu: DMK Persistent On Action Against TVK

DMK organization secretary R S Bharathi submitted supplementary complaints on Monday in continuation of his detailed complaints on July 1 and July 4: Reports

CHENNAI: Persisting on the Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and the DVAC act against Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on his earlier complaints on alleged enticement of DMK MLAs and seeking the filing of an FIR, DMK organization secretary R S Bharathi submitted supplementary complaints on Monday in continuation of his detailed complaints on July 1 and July 4.

In his letter to the Governor, the DMK leader said that subsequent to his complaint developments directly corroborating and reinforcing the complaints and disclosing the practice of horse trading by the ruling TVK in a systematic way and coercion through the misuse of the police machinery.

Bharathi said former AIADMK Minister M.R. Vijayabhaskar, during a press meet on July 2, had publicly admitted that the ruling TVK had approached him and that he would be joining the party following his resignation, which was clear evidence of inducement by the ruling TVK.

Requesting the director of DVAC take the supplementary complaint on file along with the complaint dated July 1 and, take note of the fresh evidence and material placed on record, Bharathi wanted the filing of an FIR.
